About Juan Carlos Venis

Dr. Juan Carlos Venis is a board-certified family physician and the founder of INcircle Health in downtown Indianapolis. He is also board-certified in obesity medicine and works as a credentialed HIV medicine specialist.

He started the clinic to make care personal and easy to access, built around a strong relationship between doctor and patient. Venis believes patients hold the key to their own health, and sees his role as supporting and guiding them toward lasting change, with a focus on prevention, chronic disease management, and lifestyle medicine.

Since 2017 he has taught at Indiana University School of Medicine and served on the board of the Indiana Academy of Family Physicians. He speaks both English and Spanish, which helps him connect with a wide range of patients, and being half Mexican adds a personal dimension to how he relates to different cultures and communities.
