Dr. Lisa Davidson is a board certified family medicine physician at Insight Primary Care in Denver. She serves as a Principal Investigator at Tekton Research overseeing clinical trials. She previously chaired the Family Medicine Department at Presbyterian/St. Luke's Medical Center while teaching as an Assistant Clinical Professor at the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center.
A founding member of the Direct Primary Care Alliance and a former board member of the Denver Medical Society, she has mentored physicians nationally. Originally from the San Francisco Bay Area, she studied biochemistry at Cal Poly SLO and earned her medical degree at Western University of Health Sciences College of Osteopathic Medicine. She trained through the University of Colorado Family Medicine Residency at Rose Hospital before opening her practice in 2000. Her interests include preventive medicine, mental wellness, and weight management.
She and her husband enjoy traveling and exploring different cultures, and she takes pride in the people her children have become.
