Quoc Phan, MD

Dr. Quoc Phan sees patients at InstaCare Family Medicine in Olympia, Washington. He has cared for the local community since 2014, with earlier experience at Capital Medical Center, Nisqually Tribal Health, and most recently Providence.

Dr. Phan grew frustrated watching large hospital systems squeeze out small practices while ten-minute visits left little real time with patients. Hours spent typing into the EHR, checking boxes for quality measures no patient ever asked for, and fighting insurance denials and prior authorizations pulled him away from the work that mattered most. He eventually left the security of hospital employment to open his own solo practice, seeking more autonomy over how care is delivered and more time for the people he treats.

He has embraced the Direct Primary Care model, aiming to put the doctor-patient relationship back where it belongs, at the center of healthcare. He lives in Olympia with his wife and teenage daughter.
