N. Anton Borja, DO, MATCM

Dr. N. Anton Borja is a physician at Integrative Osteopathic Family Medicine of Vermont in Burlington. His path into medicine started while living in Eastern and Southeastern Asia, where study at the Chinese University of Hong Kong introduced him to East Asian medical traditions. He later earned a Master's degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture from Yo San University and practiced in California before deciding to bring that training together with Western medicine.

He earned his medical degree from A.T. Still University's School of Osteopathic Medicine in Arizona, completed a Family Medicine internship at Columbia University, and trained in Medical Acupuncture at the UCLA Center for East West Medicine. Before coming to Vermont, Borja taught at East Tennessee State University and Ohio State University, where he directed integrative medicine programs and served as medical director for integrative oncology at Ohio State's James Comprehensive Cancer Center.
