Anna Cleland-Leighton, MD

Dr. Anna Cleland-Leighton is a board certified family medicine physician at Integrity Medicine in Newton. She spent much of her career in outpatient and nursing home settings across rural Kansas, and her approach centers on holistic, comprehensive care that helps patients make confident decisions about their own health.

With her father in the army, the family moved often when she was young, though she spent most of her childhood in Kansas. She earned an undergraduate degree in biology and chemistry from Graceland University, then attended the University of Kansas School of Medicine in Kansas City, completing a rural clinical track in Pittsburg. She trained through the Wesley Family Medicine Residency in Wichita before practicing in rural Kansas and later moving into direct primary care with Integrity Medicine.

Dr. Cleland-Leighton enjoys caring for patients of all ages and values the trust built over years of treating multiple generations of the same family, with particular interests in women's health and geriatric medicine. She and her husband are raising two children along with two dogs and a cat, and she likes running, sprint triathlons, reading, and baking or riding bikes with her kids.
