Raymond Kordonowy, MD

Dr. Raymond Kordonowy is a board-certified internal medicine physician certified in clinical lipidology at Internal Medicine, Lipid and Wellness Practice of Fort Myers, where he has cared for the community since 1993. The American College of Physicians has recognized him as an Outstanding Physician, and he was an early adopter of the Medical Home model of care.

In 2015 he founded the practice to break away from the volume-driven pace of insurance-based medicine, offering unhurried visits, advanced lipid profiling and real advocacy for his patients, whether in the office or at the hospital bedside. He trained at the University of Kansas School of Medicine and completed his residency, serving as chief resident, at Orlando Regional Hospital System. He also serves as a chapter leader and spokesperson for the Free Market Medical Association, championing price transparency in healthcare.

A longtime Fort Myers resident, Kordonowy is committed to the health and independence of the Southwest Florida community, and he believes technology and data have real power to extend how long people live well.
