Jennifer Hetrick, MD

Jennifer Hetrick, MD is a family medicine physician who runs her own practice, Jennifer E Hetrick, MD, in Worthington, Ohio, offering Direct Primary Care to patients ages 6 and up. She built the practice around lifestyle medicine, believing that exercise, nutrition, sleep, and stress management can prevent and manage chronic conditions just as much as medication can.

After years of practicing primary care in a traditional setting, Hetrick decided that the best way to deliver meaningful healthcare was to focus on the doctor-patient relationship, access to care, and a commitment to healthy lifestyles. She loves the puzzle of diagnosing complex cases, and she's found that accurate diagnosis depends on a safe, trusting relationship where patients feel free to tell their story. Caring for the whole person, and their family and community along with them, has been a constant thread throughout her career.

She has since earned board certification in Obesity Medicine and pursued additional training in menopause and perimenopause care as well as men's health.
