About Vera Oyabure
Dr. Vera Oyabure is a family medicine physician at Karismed Family Medicine in Katy, Texas.
Born and raised in Dallas, she was drawn to medicine because she believes strong doctor-patient relationships are the backbone of primary care. She earned her undergraduate degree at Baylor University, attended Saba University School of Medicine, and completed her Family Practice Residency at the University of Tennessee. After residency she worked as a hospitalist, managing complex and acute medical conditions, before returning to primary care so she could focus on keeping patients well and out of the hospital in the first place.
A wife and mother of two sons, she fills her free time with cooking, coaching basketball, and mentoring others.
