Camtu Karrenbauer, DO

Camtu Karrenbauer, D.O., is the founder of Karrenbauer Integrative Family Medicine in Cary. Her background spans both clinical and academic medicine, including time as an Adjunct Professor at the UConn School of Medicine and Medical Director roles at Duke Primary Care and UNC Rex Primary Care.

Before opening her own practice, Dr. Karrenbauer spent more than a decade in private practice in Connecticut, where she built a deep understanding of patient care and healthcare management. That experience, paired with a passion for integrative medicine, led her to build a practice that combines conventional care with evidence-based complementary therapies.

She takes the time to listen closely to her patients, working to understand each person's health challenges before shaping a treatment plan around them. Her approach draws on nutritional counseling, herbal medicine, acupuncture, and mind-body techniques alongside traditional medical care, with real emphasis placed on education and lifestyle change as the path to lasting health.
