Chelsea Johnson, MD MBA
Dr. Chelsea Johnson provides pediatric primary care at KidzMD DPC in Liberty, bringing more than 20 years of pediatric and business experience to families in the Kansas City area.
She trained at the University of Nebraska Medical Center and completed her residency at Children's Mercy Hospital, then spent two decades in pediatric urgent care and emergency medicine while leading telemedicine programs that expanded access to over 100,000 children with Medicaid coverage. Her entrepreneurial streak led her team to build the pediatric platform for K Health, and she launched her own telemedicine company while earning an MBA at UMKC.
Through KidzMD DPC, she gives families unhurried, personalized pediatric care with direct access to their doctor, blending primary care, urgent care, and telehealth into one practice.
Born and raised in Nebraska, she now spends her free time with her husband and their five teens and young adults, enjoying the relaxed pace of the Kearney area countryside.
