Chelsea Johnson, MD MBA

Born and raised in Nebraska, Dr. Chelsea Johnson brings over 20 years of pediatric and business expertise to Kansas City families.

After training at University of Nebraska Medical Center and completing residency at Children's Mercy Hospital, she spent two decades providing urgent care and emergency medicine for thousands of children — while leading innovative telemedicine programs that expanded care to over 100,000 kids with Medicaid coverage.

An entrepreneur at heart, Dr. Johnson's team developed the pediatric platform for K Health and launched her own telemedicine company during her MBA program at UMKC.

Now through KidzMD DPC, she offers families personalized, unrushed pediatric care with direct access to their doctor — combining the best of primary care, urgent care, and telehealth.

When she's not caring for patients, Dr. Johnson loves spending time with her husband and their five teens and young adults, and enjoying the relaxed countryside in Kearney area.
