Nicole Knight, MD

Dr. Nicole Knight is a board-certified internal medicine physician at Knight Internal Medicine in Charlotte, where she has practiced for over 10 years. As a direct primary care provider, she focuses on high quality, compassionate, individualized care, and she also offers functional medicine and weight management for patients who want that added support.

Knight earned her medical degree from Temple University School of Medicine, where she was a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha National Medical Honor Society, and she completed her internal medicine residency at Atrium Health, serving as chief resident. Before medicine, she studied electrical engineering at Stanford University for her undergraduate degree, an unusual path into primary care. She went on to become a graduate of the Institute for Integrative Medicine and a certified practitioner through the Institute of Functional Medicine, training that shapes the broader, whole-person approach she brings to her practice today.
