Dr. Leslie Koretz is a family medicine physician at Koretz Family Health PLLC in Asheville, North Carolina. After earning her undergraduate degree in biobehavioral health from Pennsylvania State University in 2007, she worked as a patient care technician in a cardiac step-down unit at UPMC Shadyside Hospital before completing medical school at the West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine in 2012. She finished her family medicine residency with Mercy Health in Muskegon, Michigan, in 2015.
She moved to Asheville after residency and practiced in Waynesville and Lake Lure before opening her own practice. What she enjoys most about family medicine is building close relationships with patients and helping them understand and manage their health throughout their lives.
A native of Upstate New York who grew up dancing near Lake Ontario outside Rochester, she's since traded that scenery for the mountains, filling her free time with mountain biking, hiking, running, camping and swimming outdoors.
