Elizabeth Kozlowski, DO

Elizabeth Kozlowski is a family medicine physician at Kozmic Care in East Lansing, Michigan.

She was born at home on her father's treatment table while a local news crew filmed a segment on home births. Medicine ran through her childhood from there. Her mother worked as a neonatal ICU nurse before training as a midwife, and her father was studying to become an osteopathic family doctor. Elizabeth grew up tagging along to home births, riding with her dad through ER nights, and helping out in his office.

A top student at Haslett High School, she went on to study mathematics and play basketball and softball at Albion College. Training followed at the Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine and Midwestern University, then a family medicine residency at McLaren Hospital, where she served as chief resident and later directed the program. She also taught physical examination skills as an associate professor at Michigan State University's osteopathic medical school, and has spent the past 15 years with Capital Internal Medicine Associates, caring for families and training students along the way.
