Victor M. Peña, M.D. is a board certified family physician who was born and raised in Cuba. He moved to Texas at age 17 and studied pre-medicine at the University of Texas Pan American. He earned his medical degree from Ross University School of Medicine and completed his specialty training at West Kendall Baptist Hospital - FIU family medicine residency in Miami, Florida. He has international experience providing medical care in Haiti and northern India. After practicing as a hospitalist, he adopted the Direct Primary Care model to focus on long-term patient relationships and preventive care.
