Jayme Sherman, MD

Dr. Jayme Sherman practices family medicine at Legacy Family Medicine in Mesa, Arizona. A fifth-generation Arizonan and Mesa native herself, she trained close to home, completing both medical school and her family medicine residency at the University of Arizona College of Medicine in Phoenix.

Her days center on the kind of care that builds over time. She works with patients managing chronic conditions like diabetes, sees kids for well child checks, and spends real time talking through preventative care and lifestyle changes with the people she treats. Direct primary care appealed to her precisely because it lets her slow down and get to know her patients, building the kind of relationship that makes that ongoing care possible.

When she is not at the practice, she loses herself in science fiction novels, bakes for fun, and takes regular trips to Disneyland with her husband Tyler.
