Chelsey Kahanowitch, DO

Dr. Chelsey Kahanowitch is a board certified family medicine physician dedicated to providing personalized, patient-centered care. She is the founding physician member of Liberty Direct Primary Care. She graduated from Lincoln Memorial University – DeBusk College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2016 and went on to complete her residency at Northridge Hospital Family Medicine Residency Program.

She has spent the last five years serving as a Family Medicine Doctor with Adventist Health Simi Valley. Now, Dr. Kahanowitch is embracing the Direct Primary Care (DPC) model to offer a more accessible and comprehensive approach to preventative healthcare.

With a background in Athletic Training, Dr. Kahanowitch has a passion for working with athletes and was the primary educator who founded the Sports Medicine program at Agoura Hills High School, where she taught for five years. She combines her medical expertise with her love for sports and fitness to empower patients to achieve their health goals.

Dr. Kahanowitch is married to her husband, Brett, and together they are raising their three children—Rowyn, Rowdy, and Rocky Mae—instilling in them a love for Jesus, family, and adventure. When she's not in the clinic, Dr. Kahanowitch enjoys spending time with her family, riding horses, surfing and serving on her church worship team. Above all, she is driven by her love for Jesus and her desire to serve her community with compassionate and high-quality medical care.
