Julie Rietze, MD

Dr. Julie Rietze is the owner of Lilac Direct Primary Care, with over 17 years of experience in Family Medicine. She worked for 17 years as a Family Medicine provider in traditional insurance-based healthcare. In that time, she was witness to the shift from building strong patient relationships to a corporate approach to medicine. As a result, Dr. Rietze designed Lilac DPC to practice medicine in the way that inspired her to become a doctor. She started practicing Family Medicine in Spokane in 2006, after completing residency here in Spokane. She began researching the Direct Primary Care (DPC) model and decided to leave her employed position to start this clinic.
