Teresa Lovins, MD

Teresa Lovins is a family medicine physician at Lovin My Health DPC in Columbus. A lifelong Columbus resident, she brings more than 25 years of medical experience to this way of practicing medicine. She earned her medical degree from Indiana University School of Medicine and completed her family medicine residency at St Francis Hospital System.

Beyond the exam room, Lovins has stayed active in the politics of medicine. She served as president of the Indiana Academy of Family Physicians in 2008-09 and again in 2018-19, and she continues that work through the American Academy of Family Physicians, where she sits on the Board of Directors. She is also active with the Indiana State Medical Association, currently serving as trustee for the 4th district.

At home, she keeps busy with her family and a house full of dogs.
