Amy Brown, MS, APRN, FNP-C

Amy Brown is a Family Nurse Practitioner and founder of MainelyNP Primary Care in South Portland, Maine. She is board certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.

She built the practice on the idea that healthcare should be personal, accessible, and rooted in trust, pairing her nursing background with a whole-person approach to care. Rather than just treating illness, she works to help patients understand their bodies, make informed choices, and build habits that support health over the long run. Over the past 20 years she has practiced from the coast of Maine to the Pacific Northwest. After watching short appointments get in the way of good care, she opened MainelyNP to make room for longer visits and a real relationship between patient and provider.

Born and raised in Maine, Amy grew up in a small town where neighbors looked out for each other. That connection still shows in how she practices today.
