Jennifer Holzinger, DO

Jennifer Holzinger is a family medicine physician at Maple Family Health in Hooksett, New Hampshire.

A New Hampshire native, she says wanting to be a doctor is something she has felt for as long as she can remember. She earned a BS in Medical Laboratory Sciences from the University of New Hampshire, working along the way at a gymnastics and dance studio, in a hospital lab, in an emergency department, and as an EMT-B. She went on to medical school at the University of New England College of Osteopathic Medicine, graduating in 2007, and completed residency at the NH-Dartmouth Family Practice Residency in Concord.

Family practice appealed to her because it means caring for the whole family and no two days looking the same. After eleven years in a large hospital system, she opened Maple Family Health so she could practice medicine the way she had always envisioned.

She and her husband have two children, three dogs, a cat, and even chickens. When she gets outside, she can often be found rowing on the Merrimack River, gardening, knitting, crocheting, hiking, or skiing.
