Manvinder Kainth, MD

Manvinder Kainth is a family medicine physician at Maple Primary Care, Dr. Manvinder Kainth MD, in Plano. She earned her medical degree in 2003 from Baylor College of Medicine in Houston and completed her family medicine residency at Valley Medical Center, an affiliation of the University of Washington in Seattle.

Kainth grew up in Canada and has practiced in Washington, New Hampshire, Texas and Minnesota before moving back to the Dallas area in 2013 to be closer to family and friends. She favors healthy lifestyle choices over excessive testing, multiple medications and over-treatment, and she sees her job as helping patients reach their own health goals by weighing the risks and benefits of every option rather than defaulting to more intervention.

She belongs to the Texas Medical Association and the Collin-Fannin County Medical Society. Kainth was named D Magazine's Best Doctor in Family Medicine in Dallas and was nominated as a Mom-Approved Doctor by Dallas Child Magazine.
