Dr. Marino is a Christian with a Biblical worldview - her belief in Christ influences every facet of life, from day-to-day living to business and medicine. She was born and raised in Shreveport/Bossier City, Louisiana. She received degrees in Biology and Finance from Southern Methodist University in Dallas.
She worked briefly in corporate IT/healthcare related jobs before attending medical school at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston. She completed Internal Medicine residency at Dell Medical School at UT Austin.
Since residency, she has worked in both the hospital and clinic settings in perioperative medicine, ensuring her clinic patients are optimized for elective surgeries and overseeing medical management of those patients as a hospitalist. She started her own DPC practice in 2022.
Dr. Marino was initially board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in 2019, and she participates in MOC. She also works as a physician collaborator with NuroCoach, an integrative mental health company. She is a volunteer consulting doctor for the APRN (Abortion Pill Reversal Network). She and her husband Trent have 3 children.
