Meikel Major, MD

Dr. Meikel Major is a board-certified family practice physician at MBody Healthcare in Knoxville. He works alongside a nurse practitioner, and together they bring more than 40 years of combined medical experience to the practice, most of it in internal medicine.

Over the course of his career Dr. Major has delivered a few babies, and he spent 17 years in the Air Force as a provider for servicemen. That service took him from the Pentagon to postings stretching from southern Mississippi to Idaho, giving him a breadth of experience most primary care doctors never get the chance to build.
