Katherine (Katie) McCrea, MD

Dr. Katherine McCrea is a family medicine physician at McCrea Family Practice in Bayfield. She trained at the University of Illinois College of Medicine with an emphasis on rural medicine, then completed her residency at St. Mary's Family Medicine Residency in Grand Junction, Colorado. She has also served as a senior clinical instructor at the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical School.

Growing up in the small town of Hinckley, Illinois, she learned firsthand what community and small business really mean, and that shaped why she opened this clinic. Her goal was simple, to get back to the basics of medicine, where the focus stays on the patient rather than the insurance company.

She believes good medicine comes from a real, transparent relationship, the kind where patients know their doctor and can reach her when it matters most.
