Deb Thorne, DMSc, MS, PA, CIPP

Deb Thorne holds a Doctorate of Medical Science (DMSc) and is a Physician Assistant. She founded Medicina del Sol after realizing how disjointed and broken the healthcare system is for patients and providers. The practice started from a 400-square-foot adobe room to now a 4000 sq.ft space on Missouri in Las Cruces, NM. In 2023, her spouse and business partner, Hector Lerma, MD joined the practice to add Internal Medicine to the offerings.
