Stephanie Perkins Mahan, DO

Dr. Stephanie Perkins Mahan, a Southern Iowa native and board-certified family medicine physician, leads Medicine Creek Wellness. She is a member of American Academy of Family Physicians (AAFP) and the American College of Obstetricians & Gynecologists (ACOG). Dr. Mahan obtained her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree at Des Moines University College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed her Family Medicine Residency at Broadlawns Medical Center.

She also participated in the Rural Expanded Surgical Skills Track fellowship in surgical obstetrics at Wayne County Hospital in partnership with MercyOne Medical Center in Des Moines. After practicing full-scope family medicine with obstetrics for over 8 years at Wayne County Hospital in Corydon, Iowa, she established her own practice, Medicine Creek Wellness, focusing on building personal connections to address unique health needs.
