Stephanie Perkins Mahan, DO

Dr. Stephanie Perkins Mahan is a board-certified family medicine physician who leads Medicine Creek Wellness in Corydon, Iowa. A Southern Iowa native, she earned her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree at Des Moines University College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed her family medicine residency at Broadlawns Medical Center.

She went on to complete the Rural Expanded Surgical Skills Track fellowship in surgical obstetrics at Wayne County Hospital, done in partnership with MercyOne Medical Center in Des Moines. For more than eight years she practiced full-scope family medicine with obstetrics at Wayne County Hospital in Corydon before opening Medicine Creek Wellness, where she focuses on building personal connections with patients to address their individual health needs. She is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians and the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists.
