About Garrick Baskerville
Dr. Garrick Baskerville is the founder of METSI Care, a Direct Primary Care and concierge practice in Austin built around healing and prevention.
He left the insurance-based system in 2018 because it didn't give him enough time to provide the level of care he wanted to offer, so he built something different. His goal is to extend not just how long patients live but how well, aiming for a longer healthspan rather than just a longer lifespan.
At METSI Care, Baskerville pushes patients to take an active role in their own health. He leans on preventive care and works to remove the barriers that get in the way of good treatment, trading the reactive insurance model for something proactive, personalized, and holistic.
