Dr. Michel Accad, MD

Dr. Michel Accad is a board-certified cardiologist practicing at Michel Accad MD Direct Primary Care in San Francisco. He also serves as Medical Director of Athletic Heart of San Francisco and holds a position as assistant professor of cardiology at UCSF, where he completed his fellowship and research training. Accad earned his medical degree at the University of Texas Medical School in Houston and was later selected as Chief Medical Resident at the Texas Medical Center.

Over more than 20 years in practice, he has directed the cardiac catheterization laboratory at Kaiser San Francisco and worked in therapeutic device development. He also contributes to peer-reviewed medical journals, has written a book on trends in modern medicine, and edits a blog exploring medicine and philosophy.
