Matt Bain, MD

Dr. Matt Bain is a board-certified family medicine physician at Mid-Valley Direct Primary Care in Albany, Oregon. He grew up attending Salem Academy in Salem, Oregon, then went on to Baylor University, graduating magna cum laude with a biology major and a chemistry minor. Medical school took him to Oregon Health and Sciences University, where he again graduated magna cum laude and earned Alpha Omega Alpha honors, and he finished his family practice internship and residency at Southwest Washington Medical Center.

He joined the practice in 2001 and has cared for patients in Albany ever since, guided by the belief that the patient-physician relationship works best in a small clinic with a family feel. Coaching football at Santiam Christian High School keeps him connected to the next generation, a cause he cares about deeply.

At home, Matt is married to his high school sweetheart, Lea, and the two are raising three children together.
