Katherine Taylor, MD

Dr. Katherine Taylor practices at Mind & Body Christian Health Group in Kennesaw.

Her path to medicine took a few detours. She earned her bachelor's, master's, and doctorate in electrical engineering at Georgia Tech, then spent years teaching, first engineering at Southern Polytechnic and later science at Cherokee Christian School and Dominion Christian High School. Along the way she became a licensed massage therapist through the Atlanta School of Massage, pulled in by a fascination with anatomy. Once her youngest daughter finished high school she set out to become a doctor, becoming a grandmother of four along the way. She has a heart for the underserved and hopes one day to run a mobile clinic that combines her love of travel with that calling.

An avid traveler, she has swum with sharks, chased tornadoes, and visited many countries and states. She's always curious about how other lives differ from her own.
