Bruce Carroll, MD

Bruce Carroll, MD has practiced Family Medicine at Mission Medical DPC in St Mary's since 1990, after graduating from the University of Dallas in 1983 and Southwestern Medical School in 1987 and completing his residency in Wichita Falls, Texas. He has stayed in St Mary's ever since, caring for generations of the same families.

Between 1990 and 2012 he delivered more than 800 babies in St Mary's, and prenatal and newborn care remain a favorite part of his practice today. Within the broad scope of rural family medicine, he holds particular interests in cardiology, sports medicine and lifestyle medicine.

Those interests carry over outside the clinic too. He's a Level 2 CrossFit trainer and, with his wife Cindy, founded CrossFit Benedictus in 2013. He and Cindy have three daughters, one son, and a large group of grandchildren, and when he gets the chance he fires up his Big Green Egg or heads to the Rocky Mountains to hike, bike, backpack and climb.
