Andrew Beard, NP-c

Andrew Beard is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner at Montrose Direct Primary Care in Montrose, with a focus on preventive health, metabolic health, obesity medicine, hormone optimization, and long-term wellness.

A native of San Diego, Andrew started his career in the U.S. Marine Corps as an infantryman, where he received advanced combat lifesaver training. After his service he worked in Level 1 trauma at UC San Diego Medical Center, then moved to Montrose in 2015. There he worked in emergency medicine, case management, and primary care while completing both his BSN and MSN.

For the past six years he has practiced internal medicine in Montrose, caring for a large and diverse panel of adults and managing chronic disease, complex multi-system conditions, cardiovascular risk, and metabolic disorders. That depth of clinical experience now shapes his approach to comprehensive, relationship-based primary care, where evidence-based medicine meets practical, sustainable lifestyle strategies built around each patient's goals.
