Sandy Gibson, NP

Sandy Gibson is a board certified nurse practitioner at Mountain Healthcare, PLLC in Andrews. Before becoming an NP, she spent 12 years as a registered nurse in adult and pediatric emergency rooms, intensive care, and trauma surgery, an experience that shaped how she sees patient care today.

For the past 11 years she has practiced as an NP across primary care, college health, urgent care, community health, and urology, giving her a broad view of what patients need at different stages of life. Her approach leans holistic, focused on helping people prevent and address disease rather than just treat symptoms as they come.

She holds degrees in chemistry and biology from Austin Peay State University, nursing from Belmont University, and adult acute and continuing care nursing from the University of Alabama at Birmingham. Gardening, camping, hiking, and fishing keep her outdoors when she can manage it, and she especially treasures singing old gospel hymns with her husband of thirty years and their five children.
