Adam Murdock, MD

Adam Murdock, MD is board certified in family medicine and practices at Murdock Health in Garland. He came to medical school after a year of prostate cancer research at the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio. He then trained at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School in Dallas, completing a general surgery internship followed by residency in the Baylor Family Medicine program.

Since finishing residency, Murdock has worked as a physician and medical director across primary care, urgent care, and emergency medicine settings, giving him a broad view of how patients move through the healthcare system. He describes real satisfaction in getting to know each person who comes through his door, from helping someone recover physically to walking alongside patients working through depression, anxiety, or a hard season. He also finds satisfaction in watching people turn real change in their health into change that ripples out to the people around them.

He and his wife, Emily, have four children together.
