Dr. Paul Ferenchak sees patients at My Country Doctor in Lafayette. A retired surgeon trained in the United States, Ferenchak moved into general, urgent, and emergency medicine more than 15 years ago after an accident limited the ability to perform major procedures. That shift didn't take away from the care patients receive, since Ferenchak graduated from Rutgers New Jersey Medical School in 1971 and now brings over 50 years of medical experience to every visit.
