Justin Rushing, MD

Dr. Justin Rushing is a board-certified family medicine doctor originally from Arab, AL. He attended medical school at University of Alabama in Birmingham after completing a Bachelor of Science in Biology at University of Alabama in Huntsville and the Rural Medicine program at Auburn University.

He completed residency in Family Medicine at Floyd Medical Center, a community hospital in Rome, Georgia.

Dr. Rushing and his wife Julia chose to move to Cullman in 2020 after falling in love with the community's rich traditions and values. They saw it as a place where they could put down roots and raise a family.

After three years practicing at a local multi-specialty practice, Dr. Rushing decided he could serve his patients better by leaving insurance-funded medicine and opening a direct primary care practice. He loves that this practice model allows him to build deeper relationships with his patients and better customize their care.
