Dr. Lingerfelt is a board-certified physician in Family Medicine. She attended ETSU for her undergraduate degree before attending Edward Via College of Osteopathic Medicine in Spartanburg, SC for her medical training. She then returned to East Tennessee to complete her Family Medicine residency training at ETSU Family Physicians of Kingsport. She served as Chief Resident during her final year of residency before graduating. Her medical interests include preventative medicine, women's health, and chronic disease management. Being from the small, yet beautiful town of Unicoi County, she knew her calling was to stay in East Tennessee and serve the community near and dear to her heart. Dr. Lingerfelt and her husband both grew up in Unicoi County and have now settled down roots there to be close to their family. This has also allowed her the opportunity to continue to take care of the same people who have helped shape her into the kind, caring, and compassionate person she is today....the wonderful people of East Tennessee. During her time back home, Dr. Lingerfelt and her husband have added two beautiful children to their family. In Dr. Lingerfelt's spare time, she enjoys reading, attending or participating in various sporting events, and cooking.
