Christy Rivers, DO

Christy Rivers is a board-certified pediatrician at New Way Pediatrics in Corvallis, Oregon, offering direct primary care through in-home visits across the Willamette Valley.

The medical journey started in the U.S. Navy, where Rivers served as a General Medical Officer and learned to practice medicine in resource-limited environments, an experience that still shapes a practical, patient-centered approach today. Rivers went on to spend a decade in primary care at The Corvallis Clinic, building lasting relationships with hundreds of local families, and also worked as a pediatric hospitalist at Good Samaritan Regional Medical Center, managing complex cases and emergencies. In all, Rivers brings more than 15 years of medical experience to the practice.

A Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree came from Western University of Health Sciences, followed by a pediatric residency at SUNY Upstate in New York. Rivers is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics and belongs to the Direct Primary Care Alliance, including its Pediatric Committee.
