Kimberly McDermott, MSN, APRN-CNP, FNP-BC, is a nurse practitioner at North Idaho Integrative Medicine in Hayden, Idaho. With 17 years of medical experience and more than a decade of study in the sciences and nursing, her background spans med-surg, oncology, women's health, chronic pain management, addiction recovery, and family medicine.
She trained at the Medical University of South Carolina, graduating summa cum laude, and also studied at Georgetown University and Frontier University. She is currently finishing a post-masters certificate in women's health while completing her Doctorate of Nursing Practice, with particular interests in preventative medicine and darkfield microscopy.
A retired military family, Kimberly has been married more than 24 years and has four daughters. She enjoys arts and crafts, restoring antique furniture, cooking, and living sustainably, and stays busy camping and coaching her kids' sports while active in her church family.
