Kelsey Abraham is a board-certified physician associate (PA-C) who founded Northern Pines Wellness.
She knew at a very young age that she wanted to go into the medical field and serve others. Kelsey has over 15 years of combined medical experience.
She honed her compassionate bedside manner as a nursing assistant and also worked as an EMT and medical scribe prior to becoming a PA-C.
She graduated from the University of North Dakota School of Medicine and Health Sciences, which has a strong emphasis on providing primary care in rural communities. She was able to complete all of her clinical rotations in Cambridge, MN and fell in love with the community.
She worked in Family Medicine for 5 years at a local clinic, where she cared for patients of all ages. While she loved her time spent with her patients, she found that working at a large corporation was limiting, which is the reason she founded Northern Pines Wellness.
Kelsey listens to her patients and cares for them as if they were her own family. She takes pride in partnering with her patients to achieve their health goals.
Kelsey has a special interest in functional, root-cause and preventative medicine. She is committed to addressing the root cause rather than simply treating and putting a bandaid on symptoms.
She is passionate about obesity medicine and has advanced education through the Obesity Medicine Association. She is a fierce advocate for her patients and is passionate about empowering patients in their journey towards health and wellness.
Kelsey lives with her husband and 2 young children in Cambridge, MN. She is an old soul who appreciates the small details and enjoys spending time with her family and going on road trips.
