Amanda Buzard, FNP-BC
Amanda Buzard is a family nurse practitioner at NorthStar Concierge Medicine in Delano. She spent seven years as a trauma nurse practitioner at a Level 1 trauma center, and has worked in urgent care and primary care both before and after that stretch. Her career began as a float pool registered nurse at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota and Phoenix, Arizona.
She went on to earn a degree from Georgetown University, following an earlier degree from Mankato State University, where she graduated summa cum laude and was a member of the Golden Key International Honor Society. What she loves most about the work is meeting people from every background and shaping their care around who they are, along with being part of a team that keeps pushing direct primary care forward.
Amanda is happiest at home with her family, and she recharges by running. Her faith shapes both her work and her relationships, and she tries to move through her days with purpose and presence.
