Amanda Buzard, FNP-BC

Amanda Buzard, FNP-C, brings extensive clinical experience to NorthStar Concierge Medicine. She worked as a Trauma Nurse Practitioner from 2015-2022 at a Level 1 Trauma Center, and as an Urgent Care/Primary Care Nurse Practitioner from 2013-2015 and 2022-present. She began her nursing career as a Float Pool Registered Nurse from 2009-2013 at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN and Phoenix, AZ.

Amanda holds a degree from Georgetown University in Washington D.C. (2013) and earned her degree from Mankato State University (2009) Summa Cum Laude, where she was a Member of Golden Key International Honor Society.

What Amanda enjoys most about her career as a Family Nurse Practitioner is meeting people from all backgrounds and walks of life and incorporating their individuality into their plan of healthcare. She also enjoys working alongside the team that continues to positively influence and grow direct primary care.

Outside of medicine, Amanda is most at home with her family and enjoys running as a way to recharge and stay grounded. Her faith is an important part of her life and shapes how she approaches both work and relationships. She values lifelong learning in healthcare and living a life rooted in purpose and presence.
