Natalie Bruce, MD

Natalie Bruce is a board-certified pediatrician at Nurturing Pediatrics, a direct primary care practice she opened in Durham in 2024. She spent more than a decade practicing in traditional outpatient pediatric clinics before moving to this smaller, more personal model of care.

At Nurturing Pediatrics she offers integrative pediatric mental and behavioral health consultations, and keeping a small patient panel lets her spend real time with each child and family. Rather than treating symptoms in isolation, she builds personalized care plans that take a child's biology, lifestyle, and environment into account.

She sees children roughly ages 4 to 19 across North Carolina and has specialized training in patient-centered mental health, functional and integrative psychiatry, developmental disabilities, autism, and neuroimmune conditions. Helping kids thrive, and partnering with their families to get there, is what drives her work.
