About Christie Shen
Dr. Christie Shen prides herself on being a Central Texas local. Born in Austin, she grew up in Pflugerville, Texas, and graduated from Southwestern University in Georgetown, Texas. She moved to Dallas to complete her medical studies at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School.She completed her residency at San Jose O'Connor Hospital Family Medicine program. After residency, Dr. Shen became a faculty member in the program while also practicing in the same group.In 2011, she moved back to Central Texas and joined Scott and White in Temple, practicing family medicine and teaching at the family medicine residency program.
