Christie Shen, MD

Christie Shen practices family medicine at Ochna Health in Georgetown, Texas.

Born in Austin and raised in nearby Pflugerville, Shen earned her undergraduate degree from Southwestern University right there in Georgetown before heading to Dallas for medical school at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School. She completed her family medicine residency at San Jose O'Connor Hospital, then stayed on as a faculty member in that same program while continuing to practice with the group.

In 2011 she returned to Central Texas and joined Scott and White in Temple, practicing family medicine and teaching in its residency program. A proud Central Texas local, Shen has spent much of her career close to the region she grew up in.
