Elsie Osei-Nkansah, MD
Dr. Elsie Osei-Nkansah, known to patients as Dr. Osei, is a board certified family practice physician and owner of One Health Direct Primary Care in Arden.
She has spent more than a decade practicing in the Asheville-Arden area, and along the way she saw the frustration so many patients felt with the traditional medical system. Long waits for appointments, surprise medical bills, and care that felt out of reach because of cost all pushed her toward a different model. Starting One Health let her build the kind of practice she had envisioned, one where she can spend real time with patients and stay connected with them between visits.
Her goal is a strong doctor-patient relationship built around each person's needs, with care that treats the whole patient rather than just a list of symptoms.
