Maria Huang, MD

Dr. Maria Huang is a pediatrician at Orca Pediatrics in Olympia, board certified since 2009.

Born in Chapel Hill, North Carolina and raised in Cleveland, Ohio, she stayed in the Midwest for both college and medical school at Case Western Reserve University. There, she graduated summa cum laude with a double major in chemistry and psychology and earned Alpha Omega Alpha distinction. After decades there, she moved to the West Coast to specialize in pediatrics and completed her residency at Seattle Children's Hospital.

An adventurous year working in Christchurch, New Zealand came next. She has called Olympia home since settling in the South Sound area in 2011. Building trusting relationships with the families she cares for is what she finds most rewarding about the work. A proud Tarheel at heart, she still cheers for Chapel Hill.
