Eric Gibb, MD.

Eric Gibb, known to patients as Doc Gibb, is the founder and lead medical provider at Our Town Medical in Buena Vista. He opened the practice in October 2014 after growing frustrated with the bureaucracy of traditional medical offices and the insurance rules that got in the way of practicing medicine the way he wanted to.

Doc Gibb earned his B.S. and M.S. in Biology from Stanford University before attending medical school at Tufts University School of Medicine in Boston, and he completed his family practice residency at St. Mary's Hospital in Grand Junction, Colorado. He has served as a family physician in Buena Vista for more than 25 years and stays active in the community as president of the local Optimist Club.

He met his wife, Diane, when the two were students together at Stanford more than 40 years ago, and they now have two grown daughters living in the Denver area.
