Alfredo Ovalle, MD

Dr. Alfredo Ovalle is a family medicine physician at Ovalle, MD, DPC in Fairfield. He earned his bachelor's degree in biological sciences from the University of California, Irvine, then went on to medical school at La Salle University in Mexico City, where he lived for many years. His residency in family medicine was completed at St. Elizabeth's Family Medicine Residency Program in Chicago, followed by fellowships at John H. Stroger Jr. Hospital of Cook County and back at UC Irvine.

Along the way he built extensive experience in HIV and STD care through Chicago's CORE Center, alongside years of full-spectrum family medicine in both public and private settings. Preventive care and chronic disease management sit at the center of how he practices, and volunteer work has remained part of that path throughout his career.

Dr. Ovalle sees patients of all ages and believes strongly in partnering with them, and with his staff, to widen access to care and help people stay ahead of disease rather than just treating it after the fact.
