Shane Grindle is a board-certified Advanced Practice Registered Nurse and the founder of Palm Health in Jacksonville. He holds specialized certification in Obesity Medicine and brings experience from both military and civilian healthcare into his work with patients.
His path toward healthcare started as an enlisted sailor in the United States Navy, serving aboard the USS John C. Stennis. That sense of service carried into his later work as a military nurse practitioner at Naval Air Station Jacksonville, where he provided internal medicine care to service members and their families during the peak of the COVID-19 pandemic. He also spent time with the heart transplant team at the Mayo Clinic, managing some of medicine's most complex cases, an experience that reinforced his belief that good healthcare takes both strong clinical knowledge and real attention to the individual patient.
Cardiac and preventive care remain cornerstones of his practice at Palm Health today.
