Michael Benoit, MD

Dr. Michael Benoit is a board-certified internal medicine physician and the founder of Paradigm Direct Health in Lafayette. He earned his degree in Health and Exercise Science before completing medical school at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center and an internal medicine residency in Denver, Colorado.

His career has taken him through large health systems, urgent care, veteran affairs and telemedicine, and each setting left him convinced that traditional primary care had grown reactive and impersonal for patients and physicians alike. That conviction led him to open Paradigm Direct Health in early 2024, built around giving patients more time, easier access and a real partnership in staying well.

Dr. Benoit and his wife enjoy traveling with their two daughters, and he stays active outdoors and through regular exercise and mindfulness practices. A lifelong learner, he reads widely across fiction and nonfiction and looks for ways to keep growing, in medicine and in life.
