My healthcare journey began in 2002 when I became a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN). Since then, I have remained dedicated to advancing my education and expanding my ability to provide compassionate, high-quality care to patients throughout every stage of life. I earned my Registered Nurse (RN) license in 2007, my Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) in 2013, and my Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) with Family Nurse Practitioner certification in 2022. In 2026, I completed a Post-Master's Certificate as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC), allowing me to provide comprehensive mental health care in addition to primary care services.
With more than 20 years of healthcare experience, I have cared for patients across a variety of settings, including skilled nursing facilities, nursing homes, assisted living communities, home-based care, and primary care. My clinical background includes chronic disease management, wound care, preventive health services, Medicare wellness visits, home risk assessments, and the ongoing care of older adults and individuals with complex medical needs.
As a Family Nurse Practitioner, I have provided comprehensive medical care, including wound care services in assisted living facilities and in patients' homes, and conducted in-home health assessments focused on identifying risks, improving outcomes, and helping patients maintain their independence and quality of life.
Today, I combine my expertise in primary care and psychiatric mental health to provide whole-person care that addresses both the body and mind. My areas of focus include preventive care, chronic disease management, anxiety, depression, ADHD, mood disorders, medication management, and wellness optimization.
